We currently offer in-person counseling in Coeur d’Alene, Ponderay, Priest River, and Oldtown. Medication management is available in Coeur d’Alene, Ponderay, and via telehealth.
You can see a full overview of our offices on the Locations page.
Can I see the same provider for both counseling and medication?
In most cases, counseling and medication management are provided by different clinicians on the same team. Your counselor and nurse practitioner can coordinate care as appropriate so that your treatment plan feels cohesive and focused on your goals.
Do you work with teens and children?
Yes. Several of our counselors work with teens, and some providers see children depending on age and clinical fit. When you complete the intake form, let us know your child’s age and what you’re hoping to work on so we can match you with an appropriate clinician.
What if I’m not sure whether I need counseling, medication, or both?
That’s very common. On our Start Counseling or Medication Care form you can select “I’m not sure / both.” Our team will review your responses and may recommend starting with counseling, a medication consultation, or a combination depending on your symptoms and preferences.
What should I expect in my first appointment?
The first visit is mostly about getting to know you. Your provider will ask about your concerns, history, and what you hope to change. You are always welcome to move at your own pace, and you do not have to share anything you’re not ready to talk about yet.
What if I have questions about a bill?
If something on your statement doesn’t look right, or you want help understanding a charge, our admin team is happy to review it with you. You can send a quick billing message through our secure online form.
Do you offer a Sliding Fee Discount Program?
Yes. MWRS offers a Sliding Fee Discount Program for clients who qualify based on household size and income. If you’d like details or want to request an application, you can use the brief form on our Services page.
The form only asks for basic contact information and lets our team follow up with the exact steps and documentation you may need.
